About Us
Established by founder Roy Okumura in 1951, Valley Isle Produce is now run by president Nelson Okumura, a second generation family owner. In 1963, we expanded beyond only produce and became a broadline foodservice distributor. With over 150 team members, we are here to help you with your home and business needs.
Foodservice Division
VIP Foodservice serves a diverse base of over 760 operators, including resorts, restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare and schools. Our market area includes Maui County islands of Maui, Molokai and Lanai. We're committed to helping customers become more cost efficient and profitable, allowing you more time to focus on the satisfaction of your patrons.

Grocery Division
In 1985, we opened our VIP Cash N Carry Store in Kahului, providing value to the general public. Our store name changed to Island Grocery Depot in 2014 to better reflect our goal of servicing residents and visitors.
